Car Seat Gap Filler for Tesla

Tesla’s front seats sit beside a minimal center console, and owners keep running into the same problem: the phone, the key card, the coins and the sunglasses end up in the crack beside the seat. The question most buyers ask is not whether a filler exists, but whether it will fit their gap.

The Tesla problems people describe

Why things fall between a Tesla seat and console

  • Phones, key cards and coins vanish. A key card is thin and slick, so it slips through easily, and a Tesla owner often needs it.
  • Gap width varies. Fillers are sold in different widths. One brand splits its range at about 0.5 inch (narrow) and 0.5 to 1.5 inches (standard). That is why a one-size filler can fit one car and not another.
  • Model years differ. Fillers made for one year range may not fit another, so check your own gap, not just the badge.
  • Many fillers add pockets and boxes. Those need extra room and may not hold a large phone in a case. Some owners just want the gap shut.
  • Seat belt buckle position. Some fillers attach at the buckle, so check that yours stays easy to reach.

How our filler answers them

Tesla seat gap filler: what our foam strip does

  • It shuts the gap and nothing else. A slim 40.9 cm foam strip. It has no box, so it takes little room.
  • It covers a wide range. The wide end handles gaps up to about 6.5 cm (2.5 in), which is wider than the 1.5 inch range some fillers stop at. The foam squeezes into narrow gaps.
  • It stays out of the buckle area. You place it along the gap, so check that you can still reach the buckle.
  • You can measure first. Take a photo with a bank card beside the gap and our tool gives you the width at the front, middle and rear.

Tesla Model 3 and Model Y fit checklist

  1. Measure the gap with the photo tool.
  2. After fitting, run the seat through its full travel, forward, back and recline, and take the filler out if it catches.
  3. Check that the buckle is still easy to reach.
  4. Read your owner’s manual for anything about the space beside the seat.

We have not tested every Tesla model and year. If it does not fit, you have 30 days to return it.
